This week has been Reconciliation Week. All around Australia people have taken the time this week to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. At OSHC we have engaged in conversations through art. This morning, the children did a colouring in provided by Reconciliation Australia while we spoke about what this week meant to us. Throughout the week we have also created a beautiful collaborative poster. Placed on a table in the middle of the room, the poster allowed children to engage at any point during the week and it became a discussion point of reconciliation.
