On Wednesday morning we played a fun dancing game! We had to take turns using our imagination to come up with a unique dance move and use our memories to remember everyone's dance moves. The trick was, we had to do them in the right order!
Throughout the activity the children used their motor control to perform dance moves and their short term memory to remember them. The children also practised fairness through patiently waiting for their turn, and supported each other through encouragement and giving clues when some children couldn't remember. The children also developed their confidence through performing for a short time in front of a small group, and in doing so, received support from their peers. It was so much fun!
